Anytime is great and it’s completely up to you. All of our tours & times offer great photo/video opportunities and the same experience. Many frequent travelers suggest sunrise and sunset during the spring or summer season.
Children ages 8 and older can ride our horses. Jeep tours are for ages 18 months and up.
Yes, we have child rates for our Jeep tours ages 18 months – 12 years old.
Absolutely, we welcome all ages.
We do not have car seats for children, please bring your own for your child’s safety.
We only offer pick-up at the Monument Valley Tribal Park Visitor Center & The View Hotel.
Yes! Our guides are trained in how to maneuver vehicles and our horses are well trained.
We allow pets in our jeep tours as long as they are in a soft-sided carrier that can be held in the owner’s lap for the duration of the tour. We do not allow pets in our horseback tours.
For the safety of our passengers, all guests must have upper body strength with the ability to hold themselves up during the tour. Guests are responsible for getting themselves in and out of our vehicles for their tour. Our vehicles do not provide any manual or automatic ramps.
Pregnant women can ride on our jeep tours. For their safety, they’re not permitted to ride on our horseback tours.
Most of our tours have short distances of walking or hiking to get closer to ruins, petroglyphs & more. It’s not mandatory to hike.

We receive all the seasonal weather here in Monument Valley. It starts getting cold in the fall, winter there’s snowfall, spring it gets warm or hot and summer is extremely hot. Rain is short lived, & sandstorms don’t’ happen often.
You’ll receive a lot of sun exposure during the spring, summer and early fall season. About 60% of the time you’ll get sun exposure while on our jeep tours.
Our closed jeep tours can accommodate 1-4 people and open air jeeps can accommodate 1-7 people. We provide a truck for 12 people maximum and at most 6 people per guide on horseback tours.
Unfortunately, we do not provide tours for any events other than what we provide.
The highest group we can take on our vehicle tour is 65 people. On horseback tour, we can guide 40 people but has to be
done in 3 different groups back to back.

Proof of purchase is required, so please present your invoice and a valid photo ID. If you paid only the 20% booking payment option, we need the remaining amount once you arrive. You can pay with cash, debit or credit card.
Eyeglasses rather than contacts to avoid your eyes from becoming irritated from dust or dirt. Extra clothing in case the temperature gets colder or hotter. If you book our horseback tour we recommend you wear long pants, no sandals, & hat for the sun. Stay refreshed and bring water. Protect yourself from the sun and pack a bottle of sunscreen. Backpack or purse is acceptable, something compact that can fit in your lap. Snacks are acceptable, please do not litter.
Full meals, please pack a small snack like a granola bar or fruit. Alcohol is not allowed due to our policy and state law. For the comfort of all guests, items prohibited include, but are not limited to, firearms, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, drones, glass containers, alcohol, coolers, professional video equipment, illegal substances, guns, weapons of any kind, or cremated remains.
